A small mass of local anesthetic can produce profound and reproducible surgical anesthesia. The present was aimed to compare the clinical efficacy and safety of clonidine versus fentanyl as spinal adjuvant to 0.5% hyperbaric bupivacaine for knee arthroscopy.
